Always In Between from "Standard Bohemian"
He turns off the light and watches in the dark
He can see a face, he can hear a heart
But it seems to be, always in between
He wants to breathe the air but the air is cold
He pierced his nose just like his friend, to be an individual
But it seems to be, always in between
You can stand at the door, you can wanna' be more
Or you can walk right in, frowning at the sun
She dug a shallow grave, a final resting place
N othing left to save
We wander through our lives, it's kinda' mystical
You've got to know what to do and know how to be
W ithout a manual
So say a little prayer, as you're passing by
Pat yourself upon the back if you're doing fine
Cos' it seems to be, always in between
