Yamaha 'Silent Guitar'

These 'silent guitars' are designed to be used with headphones for personal practise or as a travelling companion. I took this one to Nepal in 2009 and got really comfortable on it. There was a real "what the hell is that?" effect. The neck is great to play and the LR Baggs pickup is fantastic, there is even a built-in reverb.

I refer to this guitar as 'Battlestar Acoustica' and play her quite a bit on the road and at my regular gigs, a really cool idea.
