I bought the very first PRS sold in Australia and introduced The Angels to the instrument - Paul thanked me personally on his first visit to Australia, and I did a series of demos for him. Years later I still consider PRS to be my other favourite guitar. The McCarty model suits my playing more than his original design.

The '97 maple is rated a 9 top, but has the bird inlays as an extra, and the hollow body is light weight with a spruce top, and sounds amazingly like my LP Gold Top ... simply killer. It's difficult to fault these guitars, you can take one straight out of the box and play it at the gig, I don't think I can say that about any other mainstream company.
