2009 Gibson 'Flying V' (1967 style)

To some, the radical shape of the flying V conjures images of heavy metal, but actually this shape was introduced by Ted McCarty in 1958 and to a blues fan should say Albert King, Lonnie Mack and Jimi Hendrix.

The '67 style is a not as fancy as the '58. But I like the weight and resonance of this reissue 'faded' model. The Flying V is such a flash guitar, you barely have to play a note and you look impressive!
