These Heritage guitars are made at Gibson's original Kalamazoo plant in Michigan, and being the Gibson nerd that I am, I had to have one. I don't care to debate the 'better or worse' subject ... I like this guitar, although I'm not crazy about the hardware.
I couldn't pull the pickups out quick enough to put in some Seymour Duncans, and one day I'll replace the bridge assembly. But I love the natural top and one piece mahogany back and neck. It has a slightly different neck carve that I find agreeable and real mother of pearl inlays.
